in-house programs
Our Master Trainers can deliver in-house programs at any location in
Australia or New Zealand. We can deliver everything from just one Core
Program for a small work team right through to a tailored, ongoing program
to help embed Situational Leadership® as a common model and language
throughout your organisation.
ACLS provide pre course work, comprehensive course materials and ongoing
support for each in-house program participant. Official course certificates
are of course issued by ACLS. As well as certifying the quality of the
training, these provide participants with access to additional development
programs (as certified completion of Situational Leadership® - The
Core Program is the prerequisite for all extension programs).
More information on what is included in our in-house programs is provided
here. To make an enquiry or to contact us, please click

Pre Course Work - Online Assessment (included)
Pre course work for our in-house programs consists of a web based assessment,
which is available in either Self (where you select responses regarding
your preferred leadership style) or 360 degree feedback (three or more
raters select responses on your preferred leadership style – in
addition to yourself - and the results are aggregated).
This instrument is used to evaluate the leadership behaviors you use
when you are engaged in attempts to influence the actions and attitudes
of others. The information gathered with the LEAD instrument provides
insight into your current strengths - and areas for your leadership skill
development. It supplies information about which leadership behaviours
you use and the extent to which you match those behaviours to the needs
of others.
The instrument explains 12 scenarios and the respondent selects how they
would respond in each scenario (from four possible choices). The comprehensive
20 page output report is provided to participants and debriefed as a group
during the course.
Course materials are provided for each participant (included)
- Comprehensive manual
- Handy Pocket Reference (a cheque book sized wallet that contains
quick reference cards on the model, the readiness levels and leadership
styles)
- Model pocket card
- A4 colour handouts
Ongoing Support
The Situational Leader™, our monthly email publication, provides
Situational Leadership® tips and hints to help encourage ongoing application
of the model. We have found that keeping the model top of mind and providing
concise tips on relevant topics helps organisations to maximise the benefit
of the training for their staff. This is sent to all course participants
on an ongoing basis (subject to the permission of the organisation), however
at any time an individual can choose to 'unsubscribe' from this service
or the organisation can request that their staff are removed from the
distribution list.
We also provide email access to our Master Trainer to ask specific questions
relating to the model or the training. This is particularly useful if
participants have a specific question relating to their own application
of the model in the workplace and would like clarification.
Telephone or face to face coaching is also available for an additional
investment.
