Australasian Centre for Leadership Studies (ACLS)

acls

ACLS was set up in 2003 to specifically represent the Situational Leadership® suite of products and services, as the Australian Master Licensee for the Center for Leadership Studies (USA). As their representative we are the only organisation which can provide public training and trainer accreditation/organisational licensing.

Center for Leadership Studies (USA)

The Center for Leadership Studies opened its doors in the mid 1960s. Dr. Hersey had gone to California on sabbatical to write and do research. After a taste of the Southern California weather and business opportunities, he set down permanent roots. The Center’s main business dealings are still run out of the same building he purchased.

Dr. Hersey’s pivotal research around influence and behavior led to the development of the Situational Leadership® Model. Over the last four decades this model has become the basis of the most prevalent leadership system in the world.

Thousands of top organizations use Situational Leadership® training programs to enhance performance and develop positive work environments. Well over eleven million people around the world have experienced Situational Leadership® training with the Center for Leadership Studies. The skills they learn help them grow more successful as managers, supervisors, coaches, team leaders and individual contributors.

With a focus on specific task and behaviors being demonstrated, Situational Leadership® is applicable in any culture or group. A network of talented professionals around the world represent the Center for Leadership Studies, Inc. Training materials are available in multiple languages.

These same concepts effectively apply to parenting, selling, customer service and wherever influence skills make a difference. The Center for Leadership Studies, Inc. offers a variety of products and services that range from self and peer assessments and 360° degree feedback to packaged training programs or tailored on-site workshops.
