Testimonials
“Invaluable. Aubrey was great. A very encouraging and knowledgeable facilitator. I am confident I will be able to deliver this program to my management team and also use my knowledge to lead more effectively”
- Joanne Ryan, SuperCheap Auto, Qld
“Great to have a more thorough set of tools to apply for different employees”
-Gavin Heydon, Australia Post, WA
“Thanks for a really great course – extremely well delivered. It was great having my immediate manager on the course as he is now applying the model to my situations first, so I get to learn from the experience and will then be more able to apply the model to my team’s situations”
- Bruce Swiegers, Avanade Australia, Sydney
“I used to think that every great leader had a particular style of leadership but I now realize that they need the flexibility to change their style according to the situation. I believe that the Situational Leadership model defines this process of flexibility exceptionally well. It gives you a structure to work within and clearly shows you how and when to use different styles. Aubrey Warren is a great presenter and has the ability to deliver the program in an easy to understand format. I send all my key people to this course as I feel it is an essential concept for great leadership.”
- Frank Uccellini, Licensee Terry White Chemists Browns Plains, Chirnside, Robina
“I particularly enjoyed your session this week very much – I particularly liked the simple framework the SL model provides on which leadership direction to take for a given person/situation. Definitely one of the more practical leadership models around that I have seen”
- David Gorman, HR Learning & Development Consultant, Dept Housing and Works, WA
“It was refreshing to go to a course that had content which could be instantly applied to the workplace. It reaffirmed that it is essential to consider an individual’s or group’s readiness to take on/perform a task if we are to successfully achieve a goal. Sometimes you have to look through a follower’s eyes in order to lead effectively. Thanks again for the course presentation.”
- Gil Fijac, Client & Project Manager, Department of Housing and Works, WA
“I have definitely had some great wins with adapting styles to readiness. Most importantly I seem to be a lot more aware that the style needs to change in every different situation instead of putting people in one category and always using that style with them – it is great fun! The other team managers who attended the course have mentioned how much they have benefited from the course and how they understand the Situational Leadership much more now.”
- Carol Grieve, IAG, WA
“Really enjoyed the Situational Leadership course the other week. I’ve already heard a few references to applying ‘S2 style’ or being ‘R4’ for a task, so it has permeated with the consultants.”
- Peter Warner, Avanade Australia, ACT
“Held my interest all day.”
“Had a top day! Very informative, eye-opening and beneficial on an ongoing basis.”
“I have just started out on a new customer site which is providing endless opportunities to practice my assessment of readiness levels and ensuring this is not affected by my perception of the person. It is interesting how our first impressions sometimes cloud our judgement!”
“I have been trying to use the leadership model since the training and have been able to put it to use. I am finding it very helpful in dealing with a great deal of situations when managing people. Once again thanks for a great course last week.”
“Well facilitated, excellent tools.”
“Highly enjoyable and informative”
“The course has given me an idea of what my leadership skills are currently like and how I might improve/change. I really enjoyed the workshop!”
“It gives me some every clear development targets for my growth.”
“Very practical.”
